Adult Ego - Source of Logic and Rationality

Adult ego is the main source of logic and rationality and is purely distinct from child ego. The concept ego is defined as the true rational component of human being and what directs his thinking,whereas,logic is the formal and very systematic study of principles and valid inferences geared  to realization of correct reasoning.

Adult ego is the main source of logic since it examines arguments to distinguish and draw a line from what is truth and what is a fallacy.

The concept rationality means ability to use logic to evaluate and analyses critical conditions which have to be evaluated by psychologists who have ventured in ego analysis.

Philosophically, rationality means reasoning and ability to exercise reasoning to arrive at conclusions by deliberate consideration of things. Adult ego is the main source of logic and rationality because it is  through it where we attain conformity of ones beliefs and the individual reason for belief.

Weber who was evaluating adult ego as the main source of logic and rationality, he categorically outlined rationality purposively, and referred to it as purposive instrumental rationality.

The second kind of rationality is the value belief oriented rationality whereby the action is undertaken by an actor on intrinsic factors. Factors which are purely directed from inward feelings and emotions without individual decision or influence.

Thirdly, Weber outlined effectual as the other type of rationality which is purely determined by the actors specific feelings and emotions, he described these as ideal types of rationality which are the main component and constitute adult ego.
Adult ego is the main source of logic and rationality since according to Sigmund Freud, adult ego has been the key determinant of individual behavior and most of the behavior which is directed to self-a concept which Freud called it ego centrism,hence from the perspective of Marx Weber, and Sigmund Freud adult ego is the main directive to logic and rational thinking.
