Often, the imbalance is struck in putting at par what others expect of you and what you want of yourself. Here comes the question of time management, to prioritize your list of ‘to-do’s, while weighing them on the scales of importance, urgency, consequences etc. The idea of time-management is not in acquiring any special skills, nor cutting down time from things you love to do. It rather is carefully preplanning or scheduling your time, foreseeing practically the positives and negatives of everything you do.
Scheduling alone is not sufficient. The key is to stick by your plan. Being able to manage time efficiently allows you to multi-task and thus excel, which gives you a sense of satisfaction in whatever you do. Its no point in just running from one thing to other, just finishing them off unless you really gain from your experiences. Don’t letting time just get old but let time become part of your memories and experiences.
Do all that is on that list of yours and remember, past was present some day, future will be present some day, so make your present worthwhile. Get into that time capsule and let the mantra be, “ there’s no better time than NOW”.
